Sinopsis

This book entitled “Blended Learning for ELT: Implication, Perception and Its Myriad of Used Web Applications” is made based on the current need for integrating technology into EFL instruction. Since the pandemic accelerate the awareness of many teachers in a broad sense and English instructors in particular, the need to have digital literacy and digital skills is prevalent nowadays.

Chapter 1 to chapter 5 shed light on concept and several studies on the blended learning. This benefits for readers who would like to find the basics foundation for some thoughts which elaborate the urgency on why educators need to know the blended instruction. In the meantime, chapter 6 to chapter 11 elaborates tools and applications that can be harnessed in the enactment of blended instructions. Although there are a lot of applications used beside which have been mentioned in this book, the selections of tools can be considered as handy applications that can be learned and used by teachers easily.

This book is made to enlighten everyone, especially EFL instructors and learners, on how to better adapt to blended instruction to maximize the process of language learning. In addition, since this book illustrates the concept and technology applications, anyone can make use of this book to better incorporate technology in their blended classroom activities. Therefore, within the elaborated 11 chapters, we hope that this book is invaluable for current language learners who are interested in learning English with technology intervention.
