Gender is a basic issue in Madura since it is embedded at and institutionalized by local tradition and value in Madura. It requires more attention as it is executed to the millineal generation since they are the next young generation to the development of our beloved country. While creative industry such as batik as the local tourism which becomes the road map of University of Trunojoyo Madura is a sector that promises positive income for Madura people to develop their economy and social life. In this research the two field are integrated to be analyzed in order to examine the three related gender issues in Madura.
Through the research, milleneal women in Madura who challange sexist oppression embedded in local tradition and value is revealed. They are ‘unconcious and silent victims’ yet they obtains solidarity from the supporting system. By conducting the research, solidarity obtained is examined that leads bonding and acquiring energy, strength, and interactive interaction. Those support them to achieve accomplishment that becomes a proof of their power which leads them to shift themselves from subordation to center society. From a woman with an arranged marriage to be a batik bussiness woman for local cultural tourism project.
